The very funny J of Musings from the Left field tagged me for this meme, 6 quirky things about me. I could just steal her answers because we are pretty similar apart form the milk thing – who doesn’t like milk? She’ll end up playing for Accrington Stanley that girl will!
So here we go, (sorry if I’ve told you these things before!)
1) My hands are nearly always cold, even in this 93 degree heat they’re cold!
2) I can not stand for the milk to be out of the fridge for longer than it takes to pour it into the cup/bowl.
3) If a food is past the sell by date I will not eat it. Even if it is only a day it goes in the bin.
4) When my blood sugar is low I under go an Incredible Hulk style transformation.
5) I don’t mind seeing my own blood and can actually get a kind of sick thrill in seeing bad scrapes in the “oh that’s really nasty way”. Other people’s blood freaks me out though, my knees go weak, I start to sweat, black dots appear in front of my eyes,
6) I can’t stand fidgets, toe tapping, finger snapping, teeth grinding drive me insane! Don’t even get me started on people who whistle.
So what do you think on the quirky scale about normal? I won’t tag anyone but if you want to share your foibles with the world let me know.

I was the same with expired food, and i did once call a food company to see how long after their use by date the food was okay for and it was about 6 months. It was something canned, soup probably. Now I just throw away the stuff from the fridge.
I feel for you on number 6- I can;t stand certain noises like chewing. Even the sound of breathing can drive me crazy.

Great answers! I’m absolutely the same with No. 6 – I cannot stand any of that, it drives me bananas, especially the whistling people – I want to go up to them and say “Why are you trying to break my spirit with your incessant, off-key, obnoxious drone?”
(I’m not crazy, honest!)

I have to smell milk before I pour it (even if I’ve just poured a glass 10 minutes earlier.) Can you guess I drank spoiled milk once?
I am the same way about blood, though I don’t get as bad as you with other people’s, but still can’t stand it (I will watch it come through the tube when I donate it, though, and kind of like it!)

I am TOTALLY with you on #3. It drives my hubby nutty. But, I cannot do it. EVER.

Here are mine:
1. I have to walk back to the car at least once everytime I park it to be sure I locked the doors.
2. I don’t like milk.
3. The only kinds of candy I really like are dark chocolate, black licorice, and black jelly beans.
4. I refuse to drink Pepsi (or the “P” word, as I like to call it).
5. I don’t like people touching my hair, so I cut it myself.
6. I don’t like wearing shorts in public, but don’t mind not wearing shoes.
Weird, huh?
Thanks for the laugh and the exercise in quirkiness.
