I kind of got out of the habit of blogging and then time rushed by and now I have posted for a month.
A lot has been happening though –
The baby is now the size of a watermelon. “I’m carrying a watermelon” (anyone know what movie that is paraphrased from?)
It is 3 weeks till he’s due. Which is scarily close.
We now have a new name in the running. So three possible picks. We’ll see what he looks like.
We had our childbirth class, with Yoda’s sister! Seriously apart from not being green, the women was his double. As T keeps reminding me “there is no try, only push” and “pain there will be”.
We had to move into the Holiday Inn for a week when the basement flooded and the drain had to be replaced. Not a fun time.
The Nursery furniture has still not arrived.
We finally found out we can move house. Not till July but the place is bigger and has a garden!
I kind of, sort of finished the book. In that it has a beginning, middle and end.
The weather has been rubbish. Where is the sunshine!!!

Wow – you had a lot going on. I was sort of following all of that on Twitter, but it was good to see the time line listed out.
A watermelon…he has to come out, you know.
I only say that because that was always my first thought when the docs described how large my children were.
It will all be fine – trust me.

How exciting about the watermelon baby! and the new house! and the sort of finished book! I need to get busy on my book. I’ve kind of started over, so there’s no way I’ll have it ready for you before the little guy comes. Maybe by the time he’s one. Glad to hear things are going well.

Oh wow, that’s gone quickly (for me but maybe not for you!) Watermelon sized already?

Lotusgirl – Thanks. Well I think I’ll have quite a lot of reading time if breast feeding is anything like everyone says
So just let me know. when it is ready.
JJ – Nope it has flown by for me too. On the second edits with the book, so still lots of work to do but I’m allowing a sense of accomplishment at the moment

Time goes by quick, doesn’t it? Speaking of which: only 3 weeks? It seems like you just announced your pregnancy! I was giggling at Yoda woman’s quote.
The flooding sounds miserable, but I hope the new place comes through without a hitch.
And congratulations on the book! You’re doing fantastic.
